PNR Expert's April and May round up

We’ve been busy at PNR Expert over the last few months. We've been continuing our goal to make PNR Expert the best PNR Conversion app available all the while keeping it free to use. We’ve spoken to a few of you, and the feedback you’ve sent has been invaluable. Please keep it coming in so we can help PNR Expert become even better.

New Features:

Display "Operated By" Carrier

Displaying "operated by" carrier has been our top requested feature for a few months now. This new display option means that PNR Expert will now show the airline logo and name of the operating flight, rather than that of the flight number.

Technical stops

Some flights have technical stop's en-route which don't appear in your converted PNRs. PNR Expert now recognises these stops and will display them in the itinerary. If you notice a flight that doesn't show a technical stop, let us know and we can add it in.

Aircraft Type

We’ve now added functionality to display the aircraft type. We’ve got several thousand loaded into our system, and we’re using Machine Learning to scrape the web and update these. That means our database will only keep growing.

Passenger Names

PNR Expert can now detect and display traveller names, not only that, but PNR Expert groups and labels names by child, infant and adult ticket.

Logo Dump

As we’ve implemented the 'Operated By' functionality mentioned above, we’ve needed to check our logo repository. We’ve added 100’s of new logos, to ensure your converted itineraries look clear & professional.

Icons

We had some feedback that when multiple forms of transport were shown in one booking, it wasn’t clear what segments were air, and what were road, rail or sea. We’ve now added icon that display when several travel methods are shown in a single PNR. This means it’s easy for your clients to know exactly how they’re travelling.

Booking Classes

PNR Expert now gives you the option to display the booking class along with the flight and cabin.

Speed Improvements

You should notice PNR Expert running a little faster now, we’ve optimised our database queries so that on average it takes just 1/5 of a second to query and return all the details of your PNR. We’ve also moved all images onto a CDN so that the airline image you are pulling in and sending to your customers is hosted on a location near you.

History functionality

We know that the life of a travel agent isn’t easy, with so much going on it can be hard to work in a linear manner. To help with this PNR Expert has introduced a history functionality.
